Publication

One of the main goals of Bishaud Bangla is to publish books of the promising and powerful writers, quality literary journals and various anthologies of high standard and merit. As part of this programme, it has already published a well-edited monthly newsletter called Bishaud Sangbad for near about three years. It has also published three other titles namely, Shudhu mati nay, a collection of poignant personal essays of Dr. Mizan Rahman, a Canada-based scientist and prolific author; Bhasha, Sangskriti, Progoti, a booklet comprising the Humayun Azad commemorative lecture given in Bishaud Bangla by one of the leading linguists of the country, Professor Dr. Maniruzzaman; and Borges-er sange kathopakathan, a rare literary conversation between the Latin American writer per excellence Jorge Louis Borges and his compatriot feminist scholar and editor Victoria Ocampo, translated into Bengali from the original Spanish by Alam Khorshed. Bishaud Bangla plans to publish a quarterly journal of literary translation in the near future.
